Go for a Sony Bravia you wont be dissapointed,i love mine,if you look on the internet youll get a good price for 1,the electrical stores are quite expensive compared to the net.If you email me i can tell you where i got mine from,i saved about £400 and i also got the wall bracket with it.

Samsung and LG are the major manufacturer of all LCD TV's around. They sell them on and they get rebadged, so a phillips LCD was probably made be either Samsung or LG.
TV's badged as Samsung are probably the best and can be found at a decent price.

Would only ever choose panasonic or pioneer, look in any tv equipment mag they always come top, I have a 28" old (6yrs) panasonic quintrix widescreen and it has a picture so good it puts my mates new Samsung plasma to shame, when I come to change it I will only buy panasonic I know how good they are but pioneer also make excellent plasma's some in the business say they are as good as panasonic and its well known these two are at the top for tv's.

I've always been very happy with Toshiba gear. No matter what I have bought that has been made by Toshiba has been ultra reliable, and worked very well.
Samsung has a very good name, and LG is a very up-and-coming brand. My 19" TFT monitor is an LG, and I am extremely pleased with it so far, although it is only 6 months old at present, and still under warranty.

SAMSUNG! Far superior in every way. You go and buy any other brand you will have a good pic for about 6 months. They haven't worked out the kinks yet. Samsung has, so that is your best choice by far

I agree, Samsung. They make screens for many companies such as Sony. Never buy a Sony TV, you will be robbed for the same technology you can get from Samsung! Sharp also make good screens.
