Tell me how so?
Genesis 9:6
“Whoever sheds the blood of man, by man shall his blood be shed, for God made man in his own image.
Genesis 1:27
So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.
Women were created out of the rib of man, not the image of GOD!!
1 Corinthians 11:7
For a man ought not to cover his head, since he is the image and glory of God, but woman is the glory of man.

This is the newest in the inclusive language stuff going on today. They apply this in a perpendicular way which should have NEVER happened. When you think about it, it just advocates homosexuality because the Scripture says the Holy Spirit (which is generally who they say is a woman) hovered over Mary and she conceived a son. Mary has been thought of as the spouse of The Holy Spirit for decades. Well, doesn't this advance the gay marriage and homosexual issue?

I say no god, no male diety, no female diety
but looking at nature, if there was one, it would be female, mostly females are the ones to birth other males and females
or use mother earth/nature as example, less male characteristics and females are the ones we look to for nurturing, without this we all die, a female god makes more sense
but we are the one creating these gods and images in our minds then make up religions to try and explain what we do not understand

Did you ever think that book was written in patriarchal times? If a bunch of nomads with 8 wives were told "Join our God! She has a vagina and she's great!" They would have laughed. It is reflecting of the time it was written in. How insecure are you that you go through the Bible trying to prove that you're better than women?

get over it. think about the time zone this view was created in? men were believed to be superior? in almost every group men were superior to women. why would they call god a her if they wanted people to believe it? btw "him" is a generalization" such as when you walk up to a group of people and say "hey guys" and there are girls mixed in. your generalizing the group as a "he". god doesnt have a reason to be male/female. unless your saying god reproduces in which case your claiming christianity to be a polytheistic religion instead of monothiestic

God is not a woman. The Bible was just translated poorly into the English language.

God does not have a sexual idenity. The Bible uses masculine pronouns to describe God for lack of better ones.
