I don't see or hear of him on the PGA tour.

He played at the Texas Open in San Antonio last weekend. Saw him on #16 myself on Sunday; finished in the middle of the pack as I recall. He's still around but he just isn't as dominant as he used to be.

David is playing on the PGA tour using his medical exemption. He'll need to earn his card to continue next year on the big tour or will be limited to 6 sponsor's exemptions a la Michele Wie. David developed a serious case of Vertigo and screwed up his mechanics trying to play through the extreme dizziness and resulting balance problems. He has mostly recovered but has trouble putting three or four good round back to back. Has had some very good round this year not enough though.

I saw an article about 6 months ago that mentioned that he still makes about 5 million per year in endorsements - so he's got cash coming in. He is also doing some golf course design work.

He has had lots of back problems - but I don't know if this is why his game has been so bad.

If you go to www.pgatour.com then click on players, you can select him and see his results year to year. I think this year he has won about $300K, but I don't think that is enough to keep his exemption for next year.

He has played recently in the Masters and the US open because he has exemptions. His gain seriously declined after his meteoric rise.

He is still a great golfer but cannot get it together like he once did.

He's playing again, just not dominant anymore, unfortunately.
He was my favorite player. I was there when he shot a 59 at the Bob Hope Classic

A few years ago he had major back problems and has not regained his golf game as we remember. I had got into a fantasy golf league a few years back and had him as one of my starters, and he didn't do well for me because of his back problems. When I selected him I had no idea about his back problems.
