How affectionate the dog is and how it acts with other animals is depends on how well the dog has been trained and socialized. You have to work with the dog to give it the personality you want.
All dogs shed. ALL OF THEM.
Whether or not the dog will cuddle with you depends on how much it trusts you. This again goes back to the training.
The only way to have a dog play fetch in the park is for the dog to be trained to be off lead. Otherwise, the dog will run away from you.
I'm sorry, but the things you're asking about have nothing to do with breed and everything to do with training. I hope you're willing to put forth the effort needed to make your pup be how you want; it won't automatically come like that.

I love the bichon frise!! Warning though...they take a lot of grooming time, but any other dog that doesn't shed will too...also, they will loose hair sometimes, sorta like a human, they don't shed, but they do loose hair.
I like the Bichons cause they don't bark a lot, and they love to cuddle but are also very energetic...
The pound would be a good place to get a dog if your not to picky, but some people want to get what they really WANT (Like me) and to know more how their personality you would have better chance with a pure-bred dog.
I would highly recomend getting one from a really good breeder, possibly a show breeder, so you support good bloodline dogs, and not just a cheepie cause some dogs that don't have the champions in them don't tend to have the personality that they should...if they did they would be in the show ring.
Let me know if you have any more questions about them wyomingirlie16@yahoo.com

Well I own a Pit Bull and Pit Bulls are all of these things. However I do not suggest that just anyone owns a Pit. Pits are powerful dogs and you should be trained to handle them. Pit Bulls are very good dogs.... but considering their reputation and power you have to have a good understanding of the breed and the laws. You have to be even more responsible than other dog owners. Its a big job but if you are up to the challenge I suggest your give yourself plenty of time to learn as much about them as possible and train yourself on how to raise a powerful dog. Oh and by the way if you are looking for power (which isn't one of the things you listed so I doubt you are) then you shouldn't get a Pit. People who get these dogs to empower themselves are the people who do not need to have them.

A mix between a maltese and poodle is perfect then. My dog is everything you just said, she is very affectionate, loves to cuddle, but also lovvves to play and be energetic. Malteses and Poodles both don't shed. They sometimes call the Maltapoos or Maltoodles.

Yep, a goldendoodle or a labradoodle. The shedding thing is why is should be a doodle, they don't shed much and golden retrievers and labs are both very friendly, loveable, playful dogs. Otherwise, you'd be stuck with one of those hairless things, and from what I understand, the only thing they have going for them is not shedding, not the best personalities.

ok let me make one thing clear:ALL DOGS SHED! some less than others.I have two cocker spainals. they love people, love to cuddle, love to run and play, and shed very little.so i think that getting a female cocker spainal is best.(males are not as cuddley as females). If you get a dog from the pound then be carefull! you never know what kind of mix it is.you might end up getting a dog that sheds alot.

Brittany.....very lovable, loves to cuddle sometimes...very energetic, and mine dont' shed a whole lot....you are not going to find a breed to does not shed at all. As far as other animals go, any breed will be good as long as you socialize them right as a puppy...take them around other people and animals...Brittanys love to go and run...fetch is one of mines favorite games....the need pleny of exercise and will make anyone a good pet. They are used for hunting also, but don't have to be...there are many people who have Brittanys that don't hunt...

any breed will work but it depends on how the dog has been treated. I have a German Shepard and she is one of the nicest dogs I've met. I also have a pit bull/ doberman mix and he just melts in my lap. And my friends have a Rottweiler and she gets along fine.

Mutts are great because they really appreciate you saving them and they bond quickly and permanently. If you're looking for a pure breed, try Dachshunds. The only thing about them is sometimes males can be yappy.
