Take her into the shower with you...Or you can give her a great bath, using Colgate Men's sahving foam..Just apply it to her and rub it in..then wipe it dry with a hand towel or washcloth..
Get the cheap old fashoined shaving foam in a can..
It leaves the coat sweet smelling and soft..

make sure the water is luke warm, and try to avoid running the water with her in the tub. The sound of the water freaks some dogs out. Also avoid splashing water, especially around her face. Use a cup or a big sponge to pour water over her body and use a wet wash cloth on her face. Other than that, you have the thumbs...she needs a bath you give her one. Be firm, but not mean and she should mellow out in time. Always give her praise when she is good and a treat when you are done giving her a bath.

Because she's a very tiny dog, I'd suggest bathing her in the sink. Make sure the water's luke warm, talk to her quietly, be careful not to get soap in her eyes. Also, lots of dogs don't like water on their heads- try doing her head last and rinse it first, that might help some. Other than that, just persist, even if she doesn't really like it, she'll learn to tolerate it.

My chihuahua also doesn't like baths but she love to play with the water hose in the yard so I rub shampoo on her and take her outside in the hot weather and spray her with the hose. She thinks it's a game and doesn't realize she has had a bath (and I have fun)

I've had a few chihuahuas and nearly all of them were afraid of the water. The best thing was to actually get into the tub with the puppy. (Of course you will get a bit wet.) I actually hold her in my arms while I am washing her, and just squat in the tub like that. I also talk to her the whole time, pet and kiss her - sometimes this helps to distract them.

Some dogs will always hate a bath. Just keep giving them on a regular basis and she may become accustomed to them. I doubt there is a way to make her like it though.

Not all dogs are going to like the idea of getting wet. Especially lap dogs. You can use baby wipes or go to a pet store and buy waterless shampoo.

Sit the dog on a towel, take a sponge and a pan of water
and sponge the soap on the dog then after he is soaped,
get a clear pan of water and sponge the clear water on
her to rinse her off. don't put her in a tub or pan of water.

just keep giving her baths...if she throws a fit at bath time and you quit doing it....the dog has trained you. keep in mind that she is very smart.
