I'm a shy and insecure girl. I just asked for the MSN of a guy that I really like. He's younger than me, and he used to look at me a lot. Now it seems he doesn't want to look at me anymore (like he puts his head down when I talk to him, borrow his stuff or pass him in the hallway). Well he gave me his MSN, but I don't know where to start to leave him a good impression. Should I add him first? and what should I say to him? I worry so much about what if I bore him too much?????? I really like him, but he's a jock, and I'm a nerd, I don't know how to make him like me. HELP!!!!!!!!!

ok, he gave me his msn, but he's never online.....what's going on??? and what does it mean???? i know i'm stressing this too much, but I can't help it! why is he acting this way?

First calm down..count to ten lol. Ok yes definetly add him right away. You could make a list of different things to talk about that way there arent any long silences and the conversation flows.

Its a really good thing he gave you his msn..so dont stress.

You can talk about anyythinng..do you have friends in common? Things that happen at school...funny stories, weekend plans...family, ask him questions and just go from there.

look with that attitude ur not gonna get him ur probally really pretty and he likes you but as you said hes a jock my b/f is a jock but hes a sweetheart u got his msn add him and start talking if hes intressted he'll listen and respond it his friends that r making him act weird no one is everyones type my b/fs friend rn't that into me either but he loves me so he doesnt care just talk to him find things out about him. and then talk to him in the hall and if he talks back u know that he at least doesnt think ur boaring.

i would put it like this, cause beating around the bush is going to get you know where. if he is a jock and your what you call yourself a nerd, then when he is putting his head down when you pass him in the halls is him telling you he cant let other people know he associates with you. jocks are not saposed to associate with nerds, its bad for thier reputation. but obviosly he still likes you anyways or he would no have given you his msn. so i would add him to your msn and tell him this. i understand that you are a jock and that i am the kind of person your not saposed to be seen with. but obviously you want to be friends or you feel pitty for me, or you like me, and you just dont want your friends to know. so all i want to ask you is to be honest with me on why you are giving me your msn if all you do is walk by me like you dont know me. i would like to keep your around even if just friends but not at the cost of still being ignored by you at school. i understand that i am not what you are saposed to be around but i am human and i am a great person so i will not let someone be two faced to me, acting as friends one minute and then acting as if you dont know me other times. i would realy like to know what your plans are of keeping me around cause i dont want to feel like i have to hide and only be there when you want me to be there. something along these lines ok! hope it works for you.

Just relax. You are putting to much emphasis on what he thinks. Be yourself, if he doesn't like you he's not worth your time. Trust me it's not going to be as big a deal 5 years from now, you'll look back and say "man what was I worried about?"
