ROFL! You should have just stuck to one man... you had to make two?
Ok. let me stop lauging for a minute... hold on... ok.
To be honest, everyone probably only knows Mohammed Ali and Mike Tyson. Not a lot of people know Joe Frazier (unless they associate it with M.A.) Rocky Marciano (they think that the movie Rocky was about him) or know a whole lot about Lennox Lewis.
Frankly only boxing people know that much about them. lol.
I bet everyone (nearly) knows Royce Gracie. Probably a whole lot know a bunch of MMA fighters now (pretty much all study BJJ of some form).
Eventually MMA will eclipse boxing, already The Ultimate Fighter has higher ratings then "The Contender". Not to mention MMA shows are drawing higher than boxing matches now.
I love how you put "hobbyist" that was awesome lol.
As far as Martial Arts, damn near everyone knows about BJJ now. It is big in those circles, it is the "in" martial art. Pretty much any new MA is always that way. Krav Maga, and Systema will be next, in some ways they already are.
But because of BJJ's success, (or Jiu jitsu as a whole from Judo to BJJ to Catch type things) in mixed martial art competitions, which most Martial Artists enjoy. It has become the hot martial art to learn...
I for one still feel boxing is an important part of anyone's repetoire. Hence the reason why MMA fighters study boxing, along with kickboxing, muay thai and BJJ. Boxing is still really important in my opinion. You gotta be well rounded, know how to use your hands (boxing) your elbows, knees, shins (Muay Thai) and your feet (kickboxing) along with knowing what to do when the fight hits a clinch and the ground (Wrestling, Judo, BJJ).
I can't believe you did two troll jobs, man you must be bored lol.

There are more pictures of Elvis oil paintings than of Matisse, I suppose that is because they are better.
