Here's an look at credit scores among the US population in 2003:
Up to 499: 1%
500 - 549: 5%
550 - 599: 7%
600 - 649: 11%
650 - 699: 16%
700 - 749: 20%
750 - 799: 29%
Over 800: 11%

Hi Dave, 784 credit score is not good, it is excellent. It has a tremendous effect on your life, you can get better interest rates with lenders, lower rates on credit cards and employers in some industries also look at your credit score when making a hiring decision. You are obviously responsible, and repay your debts with a score like that. One word of information, every time you apply for credit or let someone pull a credit score on you, it can lower your score. So guard your excellent rating and keep up the good work.

I believe the highest you can be is either 830 or 900

Mine is 760. The credit bureu states that is higher the 82% of Americans. 850 is the top of the scale.

pretty much what they all said and it is very very good. 650-700 is your relative "average" score. anythign above 700 is very good standing. 750 or above is near godlike. and anything over 800, the world is your oyster.
