The offshoots, that call themselves Mormons, are NOT Mormons. They are off-shoots. I bet if one single doubter went to church(I'm not here to convert) with a real Mormon, you would all be freed from you apparent ignorance. Think about it....I could say "you're not Mormon therefore you smoke, drink, and probably smoke pot. That is quite ignorant don't you think??? Put the shoe on the other foot and THINK!!!

Well, the media tends to perpetuate this idea. Most of the general public realize that Mormons no longer practice polygamy and that it is illegal. But, shows like "Big Love" and reality shows tend to poke fun and display the stereotypes and misconceptions.

I don't think mormons practice polygamy... I KNOW they do. Regardless of what "offical statement" the "official church" has made, the fact of the matter is that polygamy is still a routine practice in the mormon religion. The only difference between now and the 1890's is that now not ALL mormans practice polygamy.

Yes, Mormons practice polygamy.
Many branches also marry underage girls.
Whether celestial or official it is not right.
Monogamy is not the norm.
It all goes with the levels of heaven the men are trying to achieve. the more kids they have the higher the level they think they get to in Heaven. That is why there is more than one "wife" to get the men more and more children and high and high in their so called Heaven.
Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life.
He is all you need.

That is not true. There are people in Utah who are a part of the mainline Mormon church who are polygamous. I know that it goes on in the offshoots.
What goes on in these other groups is not so much the business of the mainline Mormon church, but they started it! As the twig is bent, so groweth the tree.

That does'nt meen that other's dont...There are several cases of polygamy going on in Utah right now , that have gotten national attention...So no people dont think it, They know it...

some mormon's do. not all. but some do.
my sister the mormon. i asked her. in her branch it is frowned upon. but there are some communities running around in Utah that still do that.
