Aaron Pryor is one of the greatest fighters of all time in my opinion and he threw punches from every angle and was relentless and tough against the smooth boxing Mayweather who thinks he's the best. Pryor would press the action and knock Mayweather out in 12 rounds. Good question sir!

Aaron Pryor changed into fearless contained in the ring and threw nonstop punches from each and every attitude. the numerous vast difference in this wrestle is that Mayweather can not damage Pryor and Pryor can definetly damage Mayweather. Pryor may actually walk via Mayweather who may be on his bicycle all evening. Pryor may win the unanimous determination right here.

Pryor - W 39 (KO's 35) TF 40 - W pct 98% - KO pct 88% - wins over A. Cervantes, L. Blackmore, D Johnson and Arguello{2} - KO'ed by B. Young (unknown fighter) - #35 ranked fighter
How is he not ranked in the 100 greatest punchers? (someone at Ring Magazine is on crack)

F Mayweather Jr. - W 36 (KO's 24) TF 36 - W pct 100% - KO pct 67% - wins over Corrales, Judah, Gatti and S. Mitchell - KO'ed by none
Won 1996 Olympic Bronze at Feather wt
Titles at 130, 135, 140 and 147
As of 2004 #2 ranked current pound 4 pound fighter

As I have noted before in boxing it is hard for a fighter to move up in weight. Mayweather was a natural Super Feather (130) wt and Pryor was a natural Jr Welter (140) wt. What happens when a fighter moves up he is fighter a bigger and sometimes the smaller man punches have little affect.
Mayweather has world class speed but as the fight progresses he can't hurt Pryor. Mayweather has never been KO'ed and is hard to hit. Mayweather's ego has him mixes it up with Pryor and he is TKO'ed by Pryor in rd 13.

Brad Morris, please get your e-mail fixed.

I'm a subscriber on Pryor's website - you guys should check it out - and I asked him this very question via Email.
Got a response via his wife, who handles all that - he's a preacher now - and apparently he and Mayweather are friends and have discussed this.
His response is that he would have walked through Floyd at 140.

Pryor was ranked the greatest Junior Welterweight of the 20th century by Ring Magazine.

I agree with his analysis.

It's Hawk Time!

No one beats pretty boy....id have to see someone come remotely close to believe it can be done...plus mayweather trains harder than any fighter, so the amount of rounds will be a non factor for him.
