my mom is very over protective.i know she loves me and wants the best but she wants me to live a certain way that i dont want.i get good grades and i dont disrecpect anyone. ill get an A- and she'll say that was good,but you could do alot better.and i cant go anywhere w/out her.she doesnt let me go to school activities,parties,i cant even sleep over @ my cousins anymore. i have to skip all of my choir programs when she cant make it.which has been 7 out of 12 so far.and she calls the school everyday and talks to the teachers about me.and my teachers are so annoyed by me for that!! now shes chaperoning the homecoming dance!!ive been talking care of my brothers and sisters since i was 3 really!! she was never home!! and didnt take care of us.ive been babysitting since i was 7.and ive been babysitting my sister and brother since i was 5.what do i do to show her i can take care of myself??

Just do it! It sounds like your pretty responsible now! Your not doing it for your mother anyway. Your doing it because it is just you!
You'll be a better person for it when you get out on your own! She will be proud of you! She just knows a lot of things you don't about what's really out there in the world. It's so easy to be tempted and fall into situations even when you don't mean to. It can happen before you know it! By "IT" I mean thousands of things that seem totally innocent to you right now. I'll bet when you have kids of your own you'll do everything just like she does! Your already a little mother figure to your siblings, don't you feel that? Don't be so hard on MOM, she loves you dearly, I can tell by the things you are saying! MOST OF ALL BE PROUD OF YOURSELF, YOU SOUND LIKE YOU HAVE A GOOD MIND!!!! We are dealt the hand GOD gives you, there are many people who don't even have food and a warm place to sleep, try to be thankful OK......

That is the key word, "show" her you can.
Get a job, and when you turn 18 you can take care of yourself, but as long as your under her roof young lady, you will do what she says. :) ha ha
Being a mother is very hard. She wants what is best for you, and this could be her way of keeping you her little baby just a little bit longer. She loves you, more than you know. She may also be getting "tipped off" by someone you are close with, that may be why she is keeping extra tabs on you. Sounds like your around the age where sex is going to be an issue and it terrifies her! She doesn't want you out of her site. It wont be too much longer, just hang tight and let her have her baby just a while longer. ;) Did she have to put her life on hold so she could take care of you guys? She just wants better for you. Try to be proud. And, I bet you that you can talk to her about more than you think you can. As you get older, you will find that she may end up being your best friend.

Sounds like mom loves you and is pushing you not to fail. She also sounds like a jerk trying to avoid quality time with you.
Discuss this with your guidance counselor at school? Explain you need some direction and advice on how to approach your mom.
And if that doesn't work, just run away from home and become a pop star like Madonna. That will fix her a**

Calling the teachers every day! She sounds a little obsessive compulsive - really, I think she needs proffessional help, that's not healthy.

Play a mean joke on her, but don't make it seem to harsh and show her she needs to back off, Make the prank meaningfull to prove your point. Sort of like a Reverse Phycology type a thing.

She sounds like she was young when she had you. Maybe she's afraid you'll turn out like her.
Talk to her and tell her how you're feeling. If you can't talk to her, write her a letter. If that doesn't work, suggest counseling.

have u try-ed to talk 2 her about this...........i mean cuz what is she going 2 when u go off to college.........is she going to follow you there to..........? you wont always b her little girl, your going 2 grow up and become a woman and have kids (your choice) and even get married one day (if that's what u wont 2 do)....................
