I mean, when the aircraft gets the last parking point, pilot looks at lights placed on the apron in order to make the parking on the tight place. in old airports, a person makes this by hand flashlights. How is that called in the professional vocabulary? Thank you! :)

You mean the flashlights that the ground crew use?

tthe lights are called acumark the guy gets a box at sfo and brings the big brides in because the pilot cant see the guy on the ground the space is too close between nose of aircraft and terminal just like a traffic light green, yellow , red too many years united airlines sfo

I did this job for several years. The lights we used to direct aricraft were called wands, as in magic. I think this was the common and official term for th tools.

I did that job on Jaguar aircraft for a few years (Pic). As a liney at night, we used "wands", basically torches with cones attached. They have two settings, one for night vision missions.
