I would say any actions or behaviors that may be extreme, sudden, abnormally aggressive or repetative...you know, a lot of low lows or high high's with period's of "normal" in between. Especially if there are some seriously obvious paranoid behaviors or personality defects or changes.
Or, maybe they just like the old school rock...or
they flip 51/50 and murdered their moms...
*shrugs*
