if Jesus came back today, you would turn to God as truth or would you not be able to? I just wonder. There is no way to prove one way or another that God exists or does not. Knowing God is about experiencing him. This is not an attack just a legitimate?

My mind is open to any possibility: I would just need some evidence. In the case of Jesus coming "back", I would need some indicia that he was Jesus and not David Koresh, that he had supernatural powers, and was not David Copperfield, and that he indeed was the "son" of a supernatural being. Then, of course, he would need to be able to back up a lot of his claims... For example, he would need to provide evidence that the supernatural being was not simply an alien or other unknown life form. Some evidence of how he "poofs" things into existence would be good.

I am glad that you have found a faith that suits you and gives you joy. I truly am. But I am happy being a Humanist. It fulfills me and inspires me. I don't worry about dead people coming back to life and judging me. I try my best to be a moral person who treats his fellow human beings fairly and respectfully and contributes to his community. I believe I am open-minded. I certainly try to be. But there is no evidence beyond the belief of the religious that gods exists. I refuse to quiver in fear of the unknown. That would take too much time away from living.

That sounds a bit agnostic, but generally u are right.
I wonder... maybe God-Jesus is with us now somewhere and we do not notice Him? Well, if He came once more and it would be the LAst Day, I would probably went to.........
