Dang, I just realize this is a car question. Have it checked man. Sometimes it's because the octane count doesn't fit. But if you're using the right fuel, then it has to be something else.

if there is a knocking in your engine then you will need to purchase gas with a higher octaine rating for about one month and also add a carb or injecter cleaner at every 2nd time you gas up

Check the recommended fuel octane in your owners manuel. The knocking sound is mostlikely caused because your fuel octane is too low.

if its a knocking when you step on the gas at first gear and wen it changes to second then it might be your motor mount screwes are no tight or.......................................... there gone

friend had same prob. when he floored it from a complete stop and when it changed to second gear the engine would shack and make knocking like sounds
