It's actually si vis pacem, para bellum. If you want peace, prepare for war. It is Latin.

Sounds real ballsy, unless you are actually the one that is out there in that war, killing and getting killed for "peace". Ever see someone's son or daughter get their guts blown out for being in the wrong place? Very noble.

Try this one. If you want peace, study your own violence.

I Googled it and it came of with this website.

The word Parabellum is a word coined by German arms maker Deutsche Waffen und Munitionsfabriken and is derived from the Latin saying si vis pacem, para bellum, meaning "if you want peace, prepare for war".
