I can but they are no where as good. Have you ever watched a toddler eat fries? They dunk one fry in ketchup and suck the ketchup off then dunk the same fry. It is so cute. They use the same one over and over.

i can not eat fries without ketchup. Ketchup is essential for fries and without them i will not eat fries

Yes.
It's a matter of preference..(some like it with plain salt..)
Hunger is one factor too.. (every food suddenly becomes declicious when you're hungry! :p)
It also depends on the type of ketchup (tomato, banana, etc.)
Tomato ketchup is BETTER with fries..

Try them with Cheddar cheese or ranch dressing!!!! Also good with ketchup!!!!
