then why break up with him? only do it if you have a real reason to do it. otherwise, you could be considered cruel.

Well, you need to tell him the truth. If he's a nice guy, he'll at least try to understand you're explanation. The thing is, because he's such a nice guy, you want to keep him as a friend, and nice guys appreciate honesty. So as long as you're honest with him, he might be hurt at first, but you wouldnt have totally burned the bridge with him. Also, I know everyone has different reasons for wanting to break up with people but make sure you are certain you don't want him. Nice guys are often hard to find these days.

Just break up with him. Big deal if he is a nice guy. Just let him know that you do not feel compatible with him. Tell him that it is more of a friend vibe at this point. Tell him that you think he is extremely nice but not for you and that he deserves nothing but the best and since you don't want to be with him you want him to move on and find a great girl that will click with him and unfortunately its not you. You shouldn't be with a guy just because he is nice, its either you are compatible or not. You are not being mean simply because you want to break up with him, that is how you feel and people should respect one another's choice

Just ignore the rumors they'll go away eventually. If everyone hates you that's too bad 4 them there missing out on you! Or you could pretend to brake up then, get back together and keep it on the down low

You don't say why you want to break up with him, but I'd say tell him the truth and a clean honest break!
Nice guys are hard to find and you don't want to make an enemy of him. Its always better to know why someone is breaking up with you.... Keeps you from having to ask WHY WHY WHY???

I have gotten this sh*t before, just don't tell him that he is to just good for you, and that he is such a nice guy and to never change. That is a load of sh*t! Just come right out and say, that what you really need is a guy that is going to treat you like sh*t , because your addicted to A**holes. In time he will relize that he was way to good for you, and live a better life with out you!

Be Polite and Say this, "This Relationship isn't Working Out We Need to End It Here".
I also Suggest that You don't be Mean while Cutting Off your Boyfriend.

Just say hey we need to talk. I just wanted to say that I enjoyed the time I had with you. I came to terms that you weren't for me. I'm sorry but this relationship isn't going no where or it isn't for me...Or you can say. I've been thinking and I don't think this relationship is going to work. I'm sorry but I need some time to myself. Good luck. It isn't ever easy breaking it off. But I've learned from experience.

he's nice and you want to leave him? do something nice for him on your way out of the relationship, like give him a hundred dollars. that might take away the guilt of turning a good guy into a jerk.
