I actually met my cop on-line and after 7 months so far so good. For the stereotype, they are actually alot of fun.......good luck

My son is a cop. I also have had two brother-in-laws as cops,and known many others. There is a lot of pressure on the spouses of cops due to the danger,the worry,often not a whole lot of pay,the hours,...... Cops have a special bond (it helps keep them alive!),but spouses often feel jealous,and many women are attracted to the"guy in uniform" thing,and if a girl is insecure that will be a problem.Divorce rate is high among cops,but I know many with wonderful marriages.

The national average for divorce (for couples that are getting married now) is over 50%. For police officers, the rate is much higher (as much as 75%).

not so good, friend of mine dated a cop and he treats her like a well i dont know how to explain it. but ive seen him if he gets mad its like we are all suspects or civilians i guess they call it. i know other cops that used to be cool but talk that way on off duty too. its like they go to school to be a cop and talk to us like idiots. what happened to normal english?

i know alot of cops who are wife abusers--also they r quick to cheat---maybe the worse person to be safe with!!!
