series two, that around 1960-68 ish.. (i just sold our old series 2) we put the kids on teh back, no seatbelts no roof, and most of the time no doors... its perfectly legal as the side pods double as seat bases.

my (even older) series 2 lwb, just had old rear mini rear seat bases, abd the kids loved bouncing around in it... after al irts an adventure playground on wheels, isnt it?

basically if theres seat belts the kids must use them..but if they aint fitted plod cant nick you. ask at the local station and get some FACTS..

Surely your question is 'where can I get rear seat belts fitted in a series 2 landrover'.

no you need seat belts. however the law is different for cars of a certain age.
