i just want to know what of the worlds population is bi-polor and why do peopel discriminate aginst them

Bi-polar or manic depression is caused by a lack of chemicals in the brain, that usually helps you with mood swings, such as depression, or high anxiety. Bi-polar disorder is a major mental illness that can usually be helped with medication, prescribed by a psychiatrist. Bipolar disease is not your fault. It is nature, and how it balances out. I have had Bi-polar for about 15 years now, and take Lithium daily to help with the mood swings. I trust you will find a good psychiatrist, maybe a good mental heath clubhouse, and many supportive friends who understand YOU ARE NOT ALONE!

I just guessing, probably about 15% or more. My brother's girlfriend is and another friend of ours has the same symptoms. Problem is they don't see that they have a problem...it's the rest of us who are the jerks. I can't stand to be around these two people when they are in one of their moods. They are just the meanest people always putting you down and taking advantage. What's more you can't go anywhere with them without them embarrassing you because they behave so badly.
