I never saw you as being hateful! Do you need another hug? :)

I had to take a look at your questions before I could answer, and now that I have, I will. Your initial question was both well written, honest and thoughtful, the responses were another matter. Your second question was more direct but hardly deserving of some of the answers you got. The truth is, many people here at this particular site forget that it is Religion not Christian. Religion can and does mean any and all including pagan. I myself, and I think you'll get a kick out of this, am a believer in the Christ but my Boyfriend (yeah I'm gay) is Wiccan. I respect his faith, it is strong, and frankly quite beautiful in its own way. He has attended Mass with me and I have had the honour of attending Solstice with him. For us, faith, no matter what the specifics, is the key to being harmonious not only with the universe but with each other. I personally believe that the God I believe in did not reveal himself in just one way or to just one group of people, like the rainbow or the sands on a beach, the universe, God, Pan, Hecate, whatever you wish to call it, is far greater and far more ephemeral than merely Christ, Buddha, Yeshua or Hecate.

Can that be rephrased in the form of a question? Hate is not good. Hate the sin, not the sinner.
