Your degree may not necessarily have any bearing whatsoever in what you are trained to do.

As a Naval Information Warfare Officer, my husband gets reassigned every 24-36 months. So yeah, I move a lot.

How often you deploy will depend on where you are stationed, what your primary specialty is, and the needs of the military. We have had duty stations where hubby is home every night by 6 pm straight through, and also duty stations where I had to look at a picture to remember what he looked like.

Not sure about AF OTS regs. when mine attended Navy OCS, he had a few weekends off, but as I was still living up in Virginia, I never saw him until the week he graduated.

Sure. After the first 6 weeks or so the weekends are yours (somewhat). I PCS-ed 11 times in 20 years. I had a degree in Human Resources (Personnel Management then) when I went to OTS, then to Undergraduate Pilot Training. From there I flew 250 combat missions in Southeast Asia in fighters. Not a scratch. Lived in Thailand, Korea and a short stint in 'Nam. California, Oklahoma, Texas, North and South Carolina, Florida and Arizona. Retired at the age of 43. I would not in any way take 1,000,000 bean$ for the experience or the lifelong real friendships that were built. I have a thousand stories to tell and one or two are true! All but that last line is fact.

I'm not sure about the visiting during OTS, but the deployments/TDY's vary. The first ten years of our marriage my husband was never deployed or sent TDY. The last 14 years of his career he was gone 75% of the time.

it somewhat is not undesirable success to announce a being pregnant in the previous 12 weeks yet some people wait until they're 12 weeks alongside through fact it is while the threat of miscarriage a great deal decreases. I waited approximately half-hour after finding out in the previous i all started telling my kin and closest acquaintances through fact I believe the Lord to guard my little one and that i do each thing a probability to shield myself and my little one. i realize it somewhat is all in God's palms and that i believe him with my existence and with the existence of my unborn little one.
