I once had a friend, the last i heard of him, he enlisted in the Canadian army. I was trying to get in contact with him, and was wondering if there was a place i could find out where he is posted.

I don't know if this would work, but it's worth a try.

Write or Email the "general inquires department" at the Canadian Forces headquarters. Say that you are friends with a soldier in the CF but you have lost touch with each other and you would like to contact him. You understand that for privacy and security reasons they can not release that information directly to you, but is there a way to get a message to him asking him to contact you. Worst case scenario, they say "no".

EMail:
information@forces.gc.ca

Address:
General Inquiries
Major General George R Pearkes Building
101 Colonel By Drive
Ottawa, Ontario, Canada
K1A OK2

Good Luck (and if you do contact him, "Thank" him for his service to Canada.)
