My fiance just sent me a dozen red roses! I want to enjoy them when they're fresh and then be able to preserve them so I can continue to enjoy them dried. Any tips?

First of all - trim the stems each and every day about a 1/4 inch and put sugar in the water. Then when all done in water, bundle them up, put a rubberband at the end to hold them together and hang them upside down so the color stays in the petals and they dry really nicely.

Get the roses and tie them all together with a peice of string. A lot of people find it better to lay down however i think if you hang them up side down it looks better. the roses will stay straight rather then hanging. give them about a week before you take them down.

Love is the answer to everything. All you ever need is love,
communication and understanding. That's what I figured out so
far. If you are down, you need to get up and start doing something with
your life. Don't need to be shy, be straight forward and allways say what
you want and expect from the others.
