I don't really agree that sugar free gum is good for you. It's sweetened with chemicals and no matter what anyone thinks- aspartame is not good for you.

The only benefit that I have heard of chewing gum is that it is sugar free might be good for your dental health and breath because it helps create more saliva. I don't recommend chewing it often.

Sugarless gum can help with cravings. It doesn't have any nutrional value though.
