Use a shampoo for oily hair and dont use heavy conditioners, try a spray on leave in one, and dont apply directly to the scalp, easy way is to flip hair over and then apply, that way it is not on the scalp. I usually wash mine every other day, i go two at the most but never 3.

Use professional shampoos from a salon. They don't contain the waxes that shampoos from a retail store carry. the excess waxes are what causes the oily problems.

wash it more often
you can also put baby powder in it in between washings. This will produce static at first but will go away. But sounds like you need to wash it more than jsut every 2 to 3 days.
