1. Have you tried a little sugar in water and wash your face in it. Let some of the water in your eye.
2. Better still by a bottle of optirex
3.Consult an optician if itching persists

Most likely, but you should see an eye doctor to make sure something is not trapped in there irritating it, and make sure it doesn't develop into an infection. They can also prescribe something for the pain or irritation as well.
