to get the cheapest flight to korea, which day should I leave on?

The correct answer is Monday ~ Thursday is cheaper than Friday ~ Sunday. Both Asiana and Korean Air (Korean flag carriers) charge approximately $50 more for weekend flights.

Mon, Tue and Wed. are the lower travel dates. However by leaving on one of these dates it doesn't mean you will get a "cheaper flight". There are several factors to getting an air price. Depends on your dates and what kind of space is on your dates.
Meaning if Mon. Tue and Wed are VERY sold out, Sat might be lower.......this is not a cut N' dry question you are asking. Good Luck to you.
