Traditionally he appears to have been impervious to sex. That is, he was asexual. not that it matters. But what's wrong with Jesus being sexual? Is sex nasty? After all, we are taught that his daddy invented it! Why all work and no play only to get horribly crucified in the end? And while it made a good snuff film, it proved Jesus' dad to be a sadist. Now watch the answers from"good Christians" who are frothing at the mouth come pouring in. I love it!

Check the scriptures: according to I Corinthians 5, Peter and the other disciples traveled WITH THEIR WIVES. It was not just Jesus and a dozen guys.
Nowhere in the Bible does it say the Mary Magdelene ever traveled with the disciples or that she was an any time a prostitute. Rather it list her in Luke 5 as a wealthy woman who contributed financially to Jesus' ministry. Not too many rich hooker in that time period.
Note that Jesus' father Joseph is not mentioned again in the Bible after Jesus is 12. It implies that he had died at some point before Jesus began his ministry. As there were no life insurance companies or social security, etc. the job of care for a widowed mother fell to the oldest child, who was Jesus. So he was correctly fulfilling his family duties when he continued to care for and support his mother. It is also why on the cross he took the time to reassign the care of his mother to one of his followers, John. That is a good thing - as you will find out when you reach that age.
Scripture nowhere says whether Jesus was or was not a virgin. Does say that He was without sin. As homosexual relations are listed in the scripture (old and new testaments) as a sin, he could not have had such a relationship and still been without sin.

The gospels leave out a lot of Jesus' life, particularly between the ages of 12-30. According to the Gnostics, Mary Magdalene was his wife. All guys should be close to their mother. And Jesus never claimed to be a virgin one way or the other.
Now, there are some people who point to a few passages in the bible that suggest Jesus may have been gay, citing his close relationship with John. This is left strictly up to interpretation. Love isn't always sexual.
All of this aside, why does it matter whether or not he was gay?

First you ask a question knowing it is controversial. Then you turn the question to make it look like you're the innocent one.
Your supporting statements are not based on any facts (Jesus associated with many women), make derogatory remarks about the only woman that you know associated with Him, accuse Him of being TOO close to His mother (whatever that means), and then attribute a claim to Him that He never made.
I won't call you crazy but I will call you ill-informed, bigoted, prejudiced; ignorant; rude; foolish and stupid. Yeah, that pretty much sums it up.
Hope this helps and have a nice day.

From a narrowed perspective, society during Jesus time was extremely homophobic. The religious leaders ruled with stoning any caught breaking Jewish law. The Romans forbade the Jews from carrying out death sentences as a form of subjugation. Jesus was not charged with having sex with anyone or anything, and if he were it would have been recorded.
In order to follow Jewish law, Jesus had to be married, if only legally. His wife way probably the first to his tomb for burial rituals.
If Jesus were to live in our time he would be labeled a dirty hippie liberal and persecuted for crimes against the state by organizing a potentially political change. The U S would ship his @ss to Syria for some very expensive good old fashioned torture.

could be...but your logic is rude...and its obvious purpose glaring. Therefore, your purpose is to incite an opposite reaction....from those that truely beleive in jesus, and wish him not to be such...Therefore, since your main purpose is to incite a reaction...I am sure you will get this fulfillment. On the pure logic of your question, yes..in all probability, it could have been that biological jesus was gay or bisexual. In semite cultures and asian cultures, hanging out with men a lot does not mean you are not worthy of respect...It just means that as they happened to be his followers, he also got sexual satisfaction from some after being with them for so long..
This could also mean he is straight, but just by chance had sex with men...or it could just be that he did not practice sexual acts. Either way, your logic is perfectly valid. Especially since he always stressed "love" and "turning the other cheek," it can be interpreted as an ancient hippie remark of peace, or simply an indication of his sexual orientation. So, yes, again, your logic is valid. However, it would be interpreted very rude and blasphemous by those that beleive in Jesus. I don't think you would like yourself, if you beleived in him, to have your father figure, represent in such a way, the embodiment of your religion...see how insulting this is? I think you do, and did this for the very fact of getting a reaction.

jesus never claimed to be a virgin.
being close with your mother does not make anyone gay.
guys hanging out guys? that doesn't make them gay.
are you saying that being gay is wrong? do you know any gay people? i don't really understand this question or its point, other than to get a rise out of christians, offend people (gay or straight), and stir up drama.

Nah, but we do know he was Jewish:
(1) He thought his mother was a virgin,
(2) His mother thought he was God,
(3) He lived at home till he was 33,
(4) and he went into his father's business.

Jesus wasn't gay. He was sinless. He did what men couldn't do, so that is why he was able to make atonement for us.
