you probably started out a little too high on your first week, and it happens all the time to lots of people.. make sure to stretch and let yourself heal... don't try to be superman your first day.. ease into these things. your muscles need to adjust to being ripped like that and it doesn't happen over night.

You are probably over-enthusiastic out there in the first week; that may explain the phenomenon. You need to train weights everyday to strengthen and keep fit. Meanwhile, consume drinks that contains lots of phosphate. The phosphate would be processed to create ATP (Adenosine Triphosphate). The ATP allows the muscles to make instant bursts of energy. That would come helpful in your weight training.
Don't listen to the tripe from others; they are without scientific basis. Honey contains lots carbohydrates needed for building stamina. Carbohydrates are our body's main source of energy. However, they are not helpful when doing weights because when you lift a weight, you usually do it fast, thereby anaerobic respiration occurs. Anaerobic respiration does not require sugars/carbohydrates to make energy. They burn fats to unravel ATP into ADP (Adenosine Diphosphate). After this, the ADP will have to be ravelled back into ATP. This process happens in the liver and it requires tons of oxygen. This explains the fact that professional runners can sprint for 100m on one breath, but then panted heavily after the stretch of 100m.
Patricia is partly right. Sex does makes you lose focus and sleep, effectively siphoning away all of your strength.
There's also one myth that eating proteins (eggs and red meat) increases strength. That is NONSENSE! Proteins are our body's LAST resort for energy (that why you see those malnutritioned kid from Africa having no muscles). I repeat, it is the LAST! Eating more proteins will do nothing to increase the protein levels in your blood. Excess proteins and amino acids will be converted to fats. FATS! Excessive fats slow you down and increases chances of artery blockage, so you really shouldn't take too much of those proteins. Of course you'll need fats for weights training. So, wouldn't it be the best if you just take in the fats (chicken skin, stc.) instead of waiting for the body to painstakingly process the proteins into fats?

Sounds like you did overdo it just a bit. This is pretty normal--everyone wants to jump right in and try to do things as quickly as possible. Stay at the lower weight for the rest of the week and then try to go back up next week.

first honey you might have, to exercise is to do so in modertation! take your time, you can exercise until your arms fall off but that will not get you any results tremendously faster so just wait it out and go slow, and lay off the weights hun you can pull a mucle and then you will have to have an operation

possibly, my trainer told me once that the best way to increase your strength is to increase the weight gradually. Another reason could be that you had sex the day/or night before your training. it takes your strength away and that's why soccer coaches don't allow the team players to have sex during the world cup.

Exactly a week ago or less than that?
Your muscles might still be sore from "last week."
And don't consider yourself weak, everybody sees it differently. I consider myself weak but nobody else at my gym does.
