Oh boy is that so true.Can't get there attention unless you walk by buck naked and headed for the bedroom. Whats that say? Of course if you walked by with a big hunk of cooked meat I'm sure it would be a hard choice to make on what to grab first. Men you gotta love um!!!!

They are problem solvers and they hear what pertains to the problem. They are too busy thinking about how to solve the problem to hear all of our details. Woman have selective hearing because we have a strong sense of preconceived notions and it is difficult to hear what does not fit our notion.

Because it would simply be impossible to actually take in and comprehend their sexual counterpart's constant barrage of requests, complaints and negative sentiments.
I'm not bitter, I'm just telling you the way it is. "Selective hearing" is a survival tool that has SAVED many marriages.

its not just limited to men, my children (1 boy & 1 girl) also have selective hearing, maybe they learnt it from their father. lol

they dont. Read "Sex Lies and Conversation" it explains that men simply have different ways of listening and talking to one another.... it is a VERY interesting essay. It says that most of the time you thing guys dont hear you.... THEY DO!
