Actually people that have body odor are usually very aware of this issue, and feel embarrassed, and ashamed. Some people may not have the luxury that most people do of having the opportunity to have the things that are provided to them for good hygiene. Others in many different cultures have a diet that case a body odor from the spices used in their food.
So many different people that have body odor are aware and it may or may not have an effect on them, or realize that it has an effect on others.

On a hot day, when I'm working outside, I can occassionally smell myself. Not too pleasant I admit, but I know that there is a shower in my immediate future.

Not sure about other people but I never get the chance to have b.o. Now if a person has it and I know them then I say"Hey, when's the last time you showered cause you stink!"

they feel pretty bad.
they tend to shy away so as not to offend others with their body odour.
I know that's how I feel.
I also tend to feel really bad about myself like,
why cant I keep it together and smell nice ALL the time?
well. technically that is impossible, but something to always strive for , like perfection.

when I have body odor that usually means I hjave been in the woods for several days, so it sort of makes me happy

i don't think that they can smell it themselves. they need someone to tell them, or at least take a shower once a day

it's so nasty....I carry extra deorderant and body spray with me at all times...I hate when people smell :(
