i know exactly how you feel but it's my brother and my boyfriend. they are go-karting together as we speak. i guess they really enjoy each other's company but i do feel like he's using me for my brother if you know what i mean.
i guess you just have to realize that he wants to be a part of your family entirely. he knows he has a good time with you but he wants to be able to spend time with your entire family. it is creating a bond that will help your relationship. he's trying to understand you better

That's pretty bad...I mean sure there is such a thing as male boding but everythin has it's limits you know. As your BF...first and foremost you should be his top priority...then his family & friends...and then way down on the lit is your dad. It's one thing if it happens once in a while...but consistently then you do have a problem in your hands. Try talking to your BF first to find out...why...and then if he says it's all your dad then go and talk to your dad. But...if you feel that your bf doesn't even think it's such a big deal..you need to sit down and explain how things should work in a relationship. I mean how could he feel if you spend all your time with his sister or mother rather than himself. Good Luck!

Perhaps your boyfriend's relationship with his dad isn't good and your father has become a substitute father figure for him. Talk to your boyfriend and your father (separately, of course) and see what they say. Make your feelings known.
And please keep in mind that if you are older and there is any chance whatsoever of you marrying this boyfriend it is a great thing for him to have a good relationship with your parents. That will come in very handy.

Did you share this with your Boyfriend? Try telling him that you would like some alone time with him'without Dad'..maybe he will get the hint..YOu could even share this with your Father tell him to ease up , but watever you do don't stop them from being d friends.

Tell your boyfriend, and your dad that you feel this way. I think it's fine, in general, but not if it bothers YOU.

It'd be better if you guys were married but since you guys aren't it could work against you because if somethin happens where you guys have to break up ...then there's always THAT you gotta deal with...just whatever..I' don't know..cool question..thought provoking..
