I hear alot of girls call other girls a slut, I think it's just because they don't like them. I want a number, a figure that you think makes a girl a slut, for example 10 partners, 20 partners. And I know the number increases as you get older so you can't really compare a 20 yr who's had 10 partners to 40 yr old who had the same. So for this sake let's say 23yrs old, right after you've finished college, you've had the chance to meet alot of people. What number makes a girl a slut?

There's no number really. it's her attutide regarding sex that makes her a slut. I believe a girl or guy for that matter that no longer respects the beauty of intimacy is no better than an animal. those people I would consider sluts.

I honestly don't think it's fair to use a number to classify a woman this way since a similar number would classify a man as some kind of hero. Similarly, I disagree that this term should only be applied to women.
If anything, it's an attitude of carelessness and disregard that would classify someone - male or female - as a slut.

I think if you are with more than one man at a time that makes you a slut, or even more than 8 partners make you a slut. even if you are 40 yrs old or 18 yrs old.

THERE WOULD BE NO NUMBER AT ANY AGE.
The exact defenition of a slut would be a woman who excersizes sex for recreational purposes.
the ladies that are not sluts do not have sex without love.
and performing sexual acts while getting paid or recieving material goods makes a girl a whore.

I agree it is more the way a person acts!!. The only person I have called a slut was a woman who has five kids for different men and does it for child support

I think its when a girl sleeps with someone every other day. Its a double standard men do its alright but a girl their sluts. I think when a girl sleeps around they have a low self esteem and are looking for some one to care about them in any way she can get it. i personally don't think their sluts but i do feel bad for them. But who are we to judge other people and how they choose to live thier lives. As long as they are not hurting anyone they should do as they please.

a slut is someone qho has sex with different partner at a majority of time lets say a slut will have sex with someone she just met which is a one night stand but hase about 4 or more in one week. thats a slut

I wouldn't define a person as a s**t just by the number of sexual partners she/he has had. In my mind a person would be a s**t if they had sex with a person, just for the experience of having sex, without giving any consideration whatsoever to feelings of affection, commitment, caring, nurturing.
In today's society, I think that would make most of us s**ts since one time or another we all have or at least have tried to just "get with" someone for no other purpose but to have sex with them.
