why do some women do this?

I have a couple of lady friends that seem to be emotionally wrapped around a mans finger. what i mean by this is why do some women be so in love and become doormats for men who only come around every so often for sex or whatever and the women just accept them with open arms and really think they have a relationship with these guys.

I think these guys are master manipulators who can talk very well and play with the emotions of these women.
OR maybe these women are very lonely individuals who want some attention from men.Women should be smarter than this but unfortunately they are not .

It could be their upbringing. They might have a mother or someone who is of high standard around them who is showing them that it is okay to let people and not just men walk all over you. Sometimes the answer lies within the home.

It could also be that they just don't see what is happening. This can happen sometimes. They don't realize that they are being walked on and think it's more or less a compromise. As to which they are easily fooled. Talk with them and see if they even notice. But don't push any buttons. Remember, you are concerned and you want to help.

Women who accept emotional mistreatment usually have low self-esteem. They often think they can't do any better, and will make excuses for the men who treat them this way. Also, sometimes they are the type of women who believe that they can "fix" these "broken" men.

Honestly, in my opinion, these women lack self-respect. They don't care about being used, and yet, no matter how many times we try to help them, they're going to keep being doormats! We can only do so much. Hopefully one day they see that they shouldn't be ANYONE's doormat!

It could be that they don't want a man around all the time, that can get a little too much at times. They may have things they enjoy doing that they can't do when their husbands are around, like have time to be with their friends and family, or hobbies.

I have found that women who act like this did not have a father figure in their lives. Without dads it does make it harder for a girl to know what to look for in Mr. Right. I was like this at one point. My dad was there but he was an alcoholic and I made a few bad choices in men because I was looking for love, rather the right way or wrong way, to validate myself. I have since learned the error of my ways.

they want to be swept off there feet into a fairytale and when these guys finally do come around they make them feel that way so they can get them into bed'

these girls aren't stupid they just dont think they are good enough to really have a knight in shining armor

its sad because they feel bad about them selves so they settle for less and when they settle for less they usually get treated badly which makes them think they really aren't good enough its a sad cycle but they are doing it to themselves and they all know whats going on and that they dont deserve it

Perhaps you're misinterpreting their behavior or the situation. You say the men use the women for "sex or whatever" but maybe the women are also using the men for "sex or whatever." Are they not adults, able to ask for what they want in a relationship? If their men are asking for what they want, and getting it, then the women are surely asking for what they want and getting it too.

Are these women fat or ugly? Usually those are the types that do this, and it's because they have low self-esteem. And rightly so the men would treat them as such. Because how can anyone love someone who cannot love themself?

Because they have very low self-esteem and are so desperate for a man, any man, that they'll fool themselves into thinking a jerk is better than nothing.
They also have no boundaries, and probably lack character, and possibly a moral compass.
