I've been friends with this dude since 7th grade. I've liked him for about 3 going on 4 yrs. I found out that he already knew , so i gave him a lil note laying out all the info... u know..Monday he took a pic w/ me and he wrapped his arms around me... something he's NEVER done. Then he and a friend of mine were talking about me, but they each swore to never tell me what was said. Yesterday, he stole my notebook and seen all the doodles of his name then came running back singing Mario's "Just a friend." He's a flirt, but usually not this much. last week we passed notes for 55 minutes, very unusual... I just don't know. It's almost time for the class, he hasn't written me back... yet... A whole lot of other things happened in between that i can't remember, then i found out that he's going to the same person's house that i am going to friday!... but does it sound like he likes me?

The sad but honest truth is, no one can tell you but him. We can assume and make opinions, but he's the only one that can give you the real truth.
"To receive an answer, one must ask a question." Sounds like he's interested in you, but you're never gonna truly know until you use your confidence to ask him that special question. When you ask him though, make sure it's with a positive and inviting tone. If you ask him very seriously, he will get scared and give you an answer that you're not gonna want to hear. Make sure you smile a lot. And it can be an indirect question too, like, "So, when were you planning on asking me out, huh?" or, "I was thinking: what would you think about taking our friendship to the next level?" If you use an attitude like that in your question, he will know that you're into him for sure, and that will open him up a little more. Good luck!

Sometimes the direct approach is best, just ask. But if that seems too bold for your liking, look for the following signs. Pay attention to your conversations with the person in question.
1) Does this person show a special interest in having a conversation with you and, once started, make an effort to keep that conversation going?
2) Has this person taken a sudden interest in your life and hobbies? This is a sure sign that he or she is interested in something.
3) Other elements of body language include frequent eye contact, holding your gaze and looking down before looking away.
4) Does the person you're wondering about just plain smile at you a lot?
Just remember, take each moment like it will be the last. This I feel will be a good start for you in knowing. Good Luck!!!!!!!

Well the just a friend song might be a clue that he doesn't. I personally don't think that dating friends is a good idea because it can ruin a friendship, but, on the other hand, it can be the start of a great lifelong relationship. Personally, I would just ask him. He obviously knows you like him and because he hasn't come to you and told you he likes you, my guess would be he only likes you as a friend. It's probably not the response you're looking for, but it's my honest opinion.

He sounds like he totally likes you, but he may be kind of shy about it. If you like him back, go up to him and break the ice. Believe it or not, guys love it when girls do most of the moves; it shows independence. Also, be flirty with him, and make sure he doesn't do all the flirting. Make it something like a game; who flirts the most. Once you get to that point, try to get to know him better; his likes, interests, dislikes, personality traits...eventually you two should become friends. And after that, once you two know each other extremely well, that's when you can get to the point of dating.

Why not come straight out and ask him if he likes you. That way you'll have a sure answer. You just can't draw conclusions by small things sometimes especially when you got so many contradicting signals. Ask him.

i think that he knew for a long time that you had a crush on him but he wasnot sure. so, to be sure, he took your dairy to see how much you like him.i think that he is definately make a move at the party. you know that he is a flirt so, be careful. he might just break your heart. if you are serious about him then tell him to mend his "playful flirty" ways.

Well, yes he does but how.Why not just ask him it would be a lot easyer. You`ve been friends this long i don`t think it would hurt anything to ask.If he does then you can go from there,if not, at worst he`ll know how you feel for sure.If he is your friend then he`ll understand.
