Any one going to have a c-section for the 3rd time??

Question

I've had 2 c-sections, the last c-section I had was 3 years ago and I'm going to have one more in a couple of month a long with having my tubes tied.
But I'm scared. I wasn't scared for the 2nd c-sections I had I was happy to have it, but his time I feel really scared. Anybody felling the same way?

Yes as the story goes its not safe to have a 3rd C section, according to today Doctors with adavance technology its safe to do so. I will also be having my 3rd done in 6 months and hey I'm 43 yrs old. Don't worry, as long as the baby is healthy and so are you everything will go well. I had my 3rd c-section 10 months ago. During my 2nd c-section I was told that I had a very thin uterus and that if I had another child I shouldnt be allowed to go into labor and I would be high risk. I thought nothing of that until *surprise* baby #3. I was terrified the entire pregnancy that my uterus would just pop like a balloon! The OB for the 3rd, while asking the normal scripted questions before us going in, asked "are there any fears that you have with this procedure?" I said YES! Im scared my uterus will literally explode and I'll bleed to death! - He looked at me like I was nuts. Im sure he was accustomed to the standard 'nope!'.
Everything went fine and I also had my tubes tied during.
The Dr's did flip out when I started having contractions though, and that scared me to DEATH.
I'm glad its over and that my baby is ok. Couldve been a bad, bad scene.

i have had 3 c sections all with in around 3 and a half years but it was 4 years ago now...the 3rd was the most scary and i really put my finger on why but it really did put the fear of god into me,,,,i have since divorced from my children's father and the subject of weather i would want more children has been raised with my doctor and other health professionals and they all said the same thing 4 c sections within 10 year are allowed but it you wait 15 or so years you could have more!..not that i think anyone would want more!

I'm not about to have a c-section, but I did have three, with tubal ligation with my third, also. There were five years between my second and third. I healed much faster from the third one than I did with the first two. Perhaps you are frightened about having your tubes tied. You are ending the childbirthing years for you, and that might be what's bothering you. Good luck to you, and congratulations.
