Consideration and respect to the other person and the relationship. Compassion when disagreeing. Communication. Accepting and even appreciating differences. being a team. Not you do this and Ill do that. Good sex. That comes from communication,tho. Special little suprises and keep things new and exciting. Be spontaneous. Re-visit special places. Doint things you dont like once in a while because itll make the other happy.

i think if you guys really care about each other and you will realize that you both have problems and you will work through them
also let the other person talk. when you talk about how you two feel don't say that they are wrong
feelings are never wrong because they are feelings.
try to compliment that person at least two times a day
and when you see a problem talk about it instead keeping it inside
and the last thing is keep it spontaneous
go try some thing new
start a paint fight outside go swimming in the neighbors pool while they are sleeping
what ever you do keep it fun

In my opinion you have to be compatible with your partner. You don't have to like all the same things...but you have to be really into him/her, personally invested some people say. Then the sex has to be good to. After that...just be willing to compromise and they have to be willing to do that to. It is something you will always work at. No relationship is easy.

Honesty and communication. If you can not talk to the other person and be honest with them, then you have nothing. All things can be worked out if you can talk to the person.
