Never to young to have a baby, see how many you can have before you graduate high school, that is my plan. You know they would have a great life then! Mom won't have enough money to support them, Mom is wanting to hang out with her friends but can't because she has a child/children. Use common sence you spaz, you are ready when you have a husband and a good paying job!!

I think maturity is the more important factor than age. That said, I think you should have your education (at least a high school diploma) in place before you start having kids.

My sister married and started having kids at 19. The various parental units all worried that they were too young, but her calling in life was to be a wife and mother and she's done a damned fine job of it. Her boys are fine young men now because she was ready to be a good mother at a young age. I wouldn't have been ready for a baby at 19; I wanted to go to college and do some living first.

13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, but remember having sex at such a young age you are putting your self at risk for pregnancy along with STD's. You need to make sure the minute you make the decision to have sex that you are prepared for what might happen. I was once a teenage single mother and if anyone would know it would be me. Make sure you have finished high school and college then being married before you even think about being a mother/father.

When you can support them and take care of them. It is not an age per se. If you have a home, a job and a significant other to help care for the baby. If having a baby means dropping out of school, going on food stamps or WIC, or haing the baby live with your parents then you are too young.

It's too young to have a baby when you can't take care of it yourself...

So it's too young to have a baby when your sperm donors parents have to pay the child support because he can't even get a work permit.

When you're too young to legally live alone with your man...

When you're too young to have a drivers license....

When you're too young that you can't get a work permit.

When you're not old enough to work past 7pm.

I could go on and on but you get the point

I'm not sure if there is an age limit... because I know woman who are in their 30's who shouldn't have children.... If you are an adult who can provide for themselves with out any out side help or with out much outside help, you are comfortable in your relationship status whatever that may be then I guess it's a personal choice... Just make sure you have done everything you have wanted to do before you decide to go ahead and have a baby. IE: enjoy being a teen, go out and have fun, enjoy being 21 and having the freedom to enjoy it, and have no regrets!!!!

Too young is debaitable. I personally think it depends on the woman's situation (shelter, food, clothing and such) I was 19 when I had my first.
Its hard to tell someone that they are too young to do something. I guess it depends on your state of mind and how you were brought up.
Just make sure the baby is taken care of and happy. Age should go out of the window when it comes to the little one who needs you and others.

Your mind and body should be able to take over and raise a child for the most part. I believe that you have to be mature enough to raise a child but that in the case that you carry the child to term your body will help prepare you for what to expect. I would say that you will surely need someone elses help whether it be a boyfriend/husband or one of your parents. Someone to take over when you have had enough of the crying and just need a break!!

It depends on the individual. If you feel ready, then you might be. If you are pregnant and people are trying to tell you to abort because you are too young, you don't need to listen to them. Do what you want. I think you need to find a counsellor who holds your views to talk to and for support.
