Totally AGAINST!!!!!!
If foreigners want to come here, they need to WAIT in line like everyone else!!!!!
We have immigration laws for a GOOD reason!!!
Before immigrants are allowed access to this country, they must undergo a background check.
This includes being checked for COMMUNICABLE diseases!!! (ILLEGALS that sneak in,are NOT checked!!)
This includes checking for CRIMINAL backgrounds!!! (Another thing ILLEGALS can NOT be checked for)
Also, the people allowed to come here must have sufficient skills and/or education in order to support themselves and their familys!!! ILLEGALS sponge off the TAXPAYERS!!!!
Even if the illegals were given amnesty, there is NO WAY they would make enough money to be self-sufficient,because the MAJORITY of them are UNeducated, and UNskilled!!!!
Which means, that whatever money they might pay in taxes, they would get BACK at the end of the year, and with the Earned Income Credit, they would actually be getting back MORE than anything they paid in!!!!!
This EXTRA money will come from the TAXPAYERS!!!!!!

FOR!!!

We're not talking about what's LEGAL or not, we're talking about what's RIGHT or WRONG!

The Bush administration and all those other racsists are being inhumane! C'mon, people, you guys are taking this way too seriously. Since when is it wrong to settle on the other side of the border?

I don't get it. people hear about government-controlled reports about how mexican immigrants are so BAD and immediatley they go attack innocent people who have NO EFFECT ON THEM AT ALL.

Go pick on someone who has someone who is on their side to defend them.

And, no I'm not illegal. My Dad came here LEGALLY from Portugal and my mom was always here.

I don't care to announce my age (no I'm not an old woman I just want privacy on the internet) but I will say I am a mature adult.

I am against ILLEGAL immigration to the United States. There are proper means to enter, live and work in the United States, and those laws were passed by our elected officials.

If the very first act that a person performs upon setting foot in my country is to commit a crime, then I don't want that person in my country. If you have such blatant disregard for the immigration laws, then I must assume you also have complete disregard for all other American laws.

It is the laws of this country that have made it the place that it is now. If you want to come here and enjoy the life in a place with these kinds of benefits - then you need to obey our laws, and the first one you need to obey is the law regarding lawfully entering this country.

(Please understand that "you" refers to illegal aliens, not to the question poster)

I'm against illegal immigration for far too many reasons to enumerate here .First and foremost it is an illegal act done without any regard to the laws of the country they are coming to.They have no desire to respect this country or its legal citizens or currant laws. They march in our streets and desecrate our nations flag and demand rights that are only for legal Americans.
Just a few of a multitude of reasons to be against illegal immigration.

I'm 42 and against illegal immigration. I live in Texas and the illegal population here is outrageous. Our illegals tend to be from Mexico. we've forced our legal citizens to learn Spanish, we have special classes and teachers in our schools because they don't speak English. they get food stamps and health care for free. they've increased our crime statistics. if they want to live here then they should come here legally. I'll be glad when the crime of entering our country illegally is enforced and these people are jailed and sent back home

I'm 26 and i am against laws which provoke people to die when they could allow them to come legally . i am against illegal immigration but i understand why is it that people come to America and i know how hard life can be on Mexico sometimes .

people in Mexico work and work and for most it is just no enough to have a decent meal . i think people should try to understand first that if it was possible for them to come legally they would do it .

they know very well about the many who had die trying and about the many who had even lost a body part while trying to do it . one has to think of the desperation they are going through to really understand why they do it .

i think that people who are already here should be given the chance to become legal . yes it wasn't right to cross illegaly but first if was because of their need and second because the current system wouldn't had allow them ever to come legally just because they are poor . i say give them the chance to become legal and i'm sure they will pay any fees they have to pay .

For it if my life was a piece of sh** I'd wanna be able to run to a better country and people shouldn't talk because we probably are gonna be illegally immigrating to different countries after bush runs this country into the ground.

I'm for illegal immigration to the U.S. because these illegals only want to migrate for the same reason you people think you should freely be allowed to change states --- for better jobs. They can't do it legally because the U.S. labour market is distorted by the bureaucratic Soviet-style top-down management of the borders which only let in a trickle of people legally because of xenophobia.

People are supposed to do whatever they can to do get better jobs, including migrating, so they should not be criminalized.
