I am due January 11 and will probably have my shower late november or early December. There is no real time. If it is your first you may want to have it at about 1 1/2 to 2 months before your due so that way you can still buy what you need and be able to put things up and get ready just in case the little one decides that he is coming early!! November seems a little early for a February birth but you may have picked November due to scheduling conflicts. Remember the holidays are in the there from November to January!!

I would say about 1 1/2 months before your due date. Early enough so that if you have the baby early, it won't matter. And you will have time to get anything else you need after you see what you get at your shower.

Late November would be best. I was due on April 23rd, and had my first shower on March 4th, and had the baby on the 7th. I was supposed to have another shower on the 11th, and didn't get to have it because I was in the hospital recovering from a csection. What I'm saying is, don't wait too late to have one.

If you do it in November--make it at the end of it.
Most woman have their showers with-in the last 3 months of pregnancy. You should be showing quite well when you have a shower. Everyone likes seeing your big belly!!!

I THINK AT LEAST 3 WEEKS BEFORE YOUR DUE DATE. NOT NOVEMBER. IF YOU HAVE YOUR SHOWER SO EARLY IT MAY MAKE YOU MORE ANXIOUS. THE CLOSER TO THE DUE DATE THE BETTER. IT'S HARD ENOUGH HAVING TO HAVE TO WAIT FOR DELIVERY TO START, WITHOUT LOOKING AT ALL THE BABY THINGS JUST SITTING AROUND WAITING TO BE USED.

the ladies @ my CHURCH gave me my baby shower 24 days after the birth of my baby girl & that was march 4th 06(the shower) and i gave birth to my baby girl on feb.8th.the main 2 reasons they gave my shower in the 4th of march was the wanted to make sure my baby was a girl & i did not loose the baby..i guess b4e we started going to the CHURCH they throw a lady a shower for a girl, b4e the baby was born & after the baby was a born the baby was not a girl it was a boy,and the ultrasound was wrong... so then they had to return all the baby gifts.... but when ever they(the hostess) to throw u a shower is up to them or when ever u want to throw ur self a shower!! good luck!! & there's no rule or law that says u need to have the shower in any month.its uselly up to the person throwing u the shower ! :-)
good luck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!and congratulation's on the birth of ur baby.when id ur d.d.?
