There are a couple answers...
1. Men would love to call women right away, but at the same time they don't want to look desperate. So one way of accomplishing this goal is by not calling you right away.
2. Men can also get nervous and because they want to make a good impression they put off the call until they build up enough confidence.

It may be for many reasons:
#1: Trying to prove "hard to get"
#2: Afraid of calling and not know how to start the conversation
#3: Wanting to consult their friends for opinions on what say (especially if the guy likes the woman or in love with the woman) ...He doesn't want to blow it
#4: For a religious, probably want to pray about it before he calls
#5: Maybe he is busy

It is just that his sense of timing is different than yours (so is everybody's). And why do women think that it is "misbehaving" (the lady above me) if the other person's sense of time is different than yours? Can't women handle the fact that people are individuals?
If you had other friends, and other activities to keep yo busy, you wouldn't think that it was such a long time. Time flies if you are having fun. Also, if you actually had a life outside of him, it would make you seem more attractive.

Coz men aren't as attracted to the phone as women are... and they are more easy-going then females... and they're nervous...and they wonder if u don't like them...I could go on, the reasons are endless...
BUT, is there really any "reason?" or are we just making "excuses" for their misbehavior?

They may think that if they call you right away they could seem desperate or they call you as a last resort.
