[This is a serious question thank you] I always feel like 'I' am watching someone else, some out of control being, living my life. I dont want to drink, but 'he' makes me. I dont want to waste money, but 'he' makes me do it. I dont want to do that bad thing, but 'he' makes me do it.
When i look in the mirror, i dont see myself anymore...does that make sense?? I feel like i dont control my life. Is 'he' really me? Am I mentally ill?? whats wrong with me please.

Please get help... your life would change for the better. No one should have to live through what you are. So pick up the phone book and look for a shrink or counselor. Some don't even charge and some charge you according to your income. Care enough about yourself to ask for help. You are asking for help when you typed it, so go do it... get the phone book and call someone. Good luck

I think we all feel like this at times, in fact a lot of the time.

It is called guilt and your conscience is bringing your attention to the things that you feel you are doing wrong. We all have one - an inner voice.

The danger lies in the the way you respond to it. if you know its natural and there to guide you that's OK but you have to put it into perspective,

It is you that is doing these things, living them, breathing them and being part of them through the bad side of your inner voice saying - just this once or its OK (maybe it is, people should enjoy themselves if they are in control) - it is the inner voice that you would like to be that is telling you to hold back. You have to take control and get the balance between the two, find what is right for you.

All inner voice and you will probably be fighting yourself all the time all the other way and you will probably hate yourself and end up depressed.

It would not be a bad idea to seek advice through consultation with a psychiatrist. It does not mean your mad it means you care about yourself and that is good.

Good luck.

This is a serious answer to your question not a joke anybody's Mental Health is not something to joke about.
Taking the Homeopathic Remedy ANACARDIUM 200 once daily will correct that pretty soon without any side effects or complications. It treats and cures people who think they have two wills one good and the other bad and apparently one controls the other, its a peculiar symptom and only Homeopathic Medicine can come up with cures like this conventional medicine does'nt even has an idea what it is and how this could be cured. :-)
Please read about the remedy by clicking the link below :- http://homeoint.org/books/boericmm/a/anac.htm
Get well soon !
Take Care and God Bless you !

It sounds upsetting, but knowing you are having a problem is the key here. Sometimes depression can cause a "disconnect" like this or stress, or post-traumatic stress disorder.

You may have an emotional problem that can benefit greatly from counseling - which also can be done on-line if you can't get to a counselor (Google online counseling).

But - be totally honest with yourself and be sure you are not creating the problem to excuse the "bad" things you do in your life. You might feel out of control, but are still in control. Set a goal for yourself, a small one like going out with friends and deciding, just for the one night, you will only have soda, or something non-alcoholic. Make a deal with yourself and stick to it. You will be amazed how powerful you feel when you set that goal and do it, despite urging from friends or the man in the mirror.

Most likely you feel disconnected and it will help to regain power over your own life and reconnect with the one you are "watching."

I am assuming that are not having true delusions, as in hallucinating. But seriously, get some help with this before it gets worse.

Look in the mirror, there is only one person. So yes, that is ill. It should be something you can control. Your subconscious mind has found this great excuse to get away with doing things that are unacceptable to yourself.
Be honest with yourself. Take control of your life. If you are doing these things, it's because you secretly want to. If you really want to stop, you will.

You seek some help. Start by discussing this with you family, friends. Go see a doctor and dont be afraid to say and explain how you are feeling. Whatever the reason for this is, i'm sure you'll find out.

Sometimes I feel like I'm watching myself. It's a weird feeling. But I don't feel exactly like you're describing. I would maybe look into getting help for not drinking and maybe talk to a counselor. Figure out what's bothering you. If you're not really identifying with yourself, you need to figure out what is causing you to do this. Good luck!

Go along to your GP and get yourself assessed as if there is something wrong then you can get it treated and get your life back.
How long have you felt like this, how did it start, try to ask yourself (him) some questions to see if you can realise what and why it all started. Try to stay focused.

"He" is you yourself. You're feeling guilty on all those "bad" things you do. These are normal feeling of guilt. As you grow older and wiser, you'll realise that those
"bad" things are not that bad after all. Nobody is perfect in this world. The important thing is to come to term with all your "failures" and rectify them. Don't Worry. Be Happy!
