What are you talking about?
The Father, Son and Holy Spirit is like the soul, the body and the works in a single person.

I don't recall the first time I really 'became' a christian. But it did change my life. I have depended on God for so long now that believing in anything else would take the breath from me. At first, I wasn't sure what I was getting into. But i learned that it is based on a relationship, and like any relationship it needs time to grow. So, if you don't give God the time to teach you, you won't learn all you could learn. I am still learning everyday.

The Father/holy spirit part came first. The Son part bothered me until I studied the Bible and realized that Jesus didn't agree with the fundamentalists about having to BELIEVE in him as the savior. He said without his SACRIFICE no one could be truly saved. I paraphrase of course. Lack of belief can be forgiven.
The change in my life is that I have a source of strength that I really needed.

I used to be an Atheist but when a terrible day came when I was in a severe car crash, my life turned around and I became a Christian. I can say that my life has never been this good and I believe that God wanted me in Heaven.

If by 'better off', you mean economically richer...
The Bible does not promise worldly possessions. But, remember,
take care of what God wants you to do and He will take care of the rest.
