most people probably havn't heard of doxycycline but it is an antibiotic and I've searched yahoo health and other related sites and some say that it is used for that and some don't? So if anyone knows much about that antibiotic then let me know whats up.

it can safely be used for some respiratory tract infections, good efficacy and cheap cost are merits, good luck

I also say NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER EVER self medicate... specially that doxycycline is an antibiotic.....abusing antibiotics can raise some resistant organismes....& then the antibiotic becomes ineffective for bacteria it used to be effective on.....

doxycycline is used to treat various bacteria infections. Just because you have chest congestion doesn't necessarily mean you have an infection.

It is an antibiotic and can also be used for acne
