I always like verses which describe Allah's great mercy and forgiveness. Because I think I do lots of sins all the time, and I can't be saved just by my deeds, except Allah's mercy. Verses I like:

[35:2] Whatever Allah grants to men of (His) mercy, there is none to withhold it, and what He withholds there is none to send it forth after that, and He is the Mighty, the Wise.

[39:53] Say: "O my Servants who have transgressed against their souls! Despair not of the Mercy of Allah: for Allah forgives all sins: for He is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

[16:18] And if you would count Allah's favors, you will not be able to number them; most surely Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.

[67:12] As for those who fear their Lord unseen, for them is Forgiveness and a great Reward.

[16:119] But verily thy Lord,- to those who do wrong in ignorance, but who thereafter repent and make amends,- thy Lord, after all this, is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

[55:13] Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny?

The Negus (Christian King) listened to the recitation of the Quran (Surah Maryam) in focused attention and cried as he listened, so much so that his beard was wet with tears. When Jafar completed the recitation, the Negus said, “Surely this Revelation and the Revelation of Jesus were from the same Source.” Then to the two Makkan ambassadors, he said, “By Allah, I will not hand over these people to you.”

But the story does not end here. The Makkans would not give up so easily. The next day they asked the King to find out what the Muslims said of Jesus and his Divinity, knowing of course, the difference in the Christian and Muslim positions regarding Jesus. [read the whole story below]

The verse that touched me the most was Surah Ikhlas, second is Surah Mauun. One talks about the greatness of Allah and the other, to me, talks about how we should behave in our daily lives. Another great Surah is Surah Fatiha, it is a great dua. I came to tears specially when I read Surah describing the rewards for good people (we are so far from good) and punishments for bad people. In general it is always a rewarding feeling, peace

reading the Holy Quran is just great !! especially during Ramadan...

I'm lucky enough to be fluent Arabic speaker so I fully appreciate it..

sometime it jus make you cry out of humility ... when you read how much love you're given by God, and how much love you're told to be given around you ...

it's just like reaching heaven already !!!!
