I hate it when...?

A man on a date or with his wife,whatever,is gawking at me in FRONT of her. Or worse,hit on me or compliments me in front of her. I feel so uncomfortable. Why must some guys do this? Why cant they take a quick peak and move on?

Im not reffering to when Guys look at me when Im with my husband. I mean guys on dates with OTHER women who stare at me.

Whenever I catch a guy staring at me and ignoring his date, I stare back cross-eyed.

I know exactly what you mean. Actually it's disrespectful to the woman that the guy is with to act like that.Men sometimes don't think about how their "friendly" behavior affects others.I am polite when complimented but I generally ignore the husband or man if they act like that and only talk to the wife.The last thing you need is someone's girlfriend or wife having hurt feelings because her man is acting like a knucklehead by being too flirty.I've had to eductate my husband about this too since he's the chatty type. He's often embarrased me and others involved on several occasions by going overboard wth that kind of behavior.The thing is that some women will take it the wrong way and think that the guy is more interested in them than just casual conversation even if he's not. I keep the eye contact with men that stare like to a minimum because by the same token they take it as a sign that you're interested in them even if you're not.People just need to be more respectful of others and not stare or act in way that's unkind to the person that they're with. The world would be a better place and less marriages on the rocks if more people would remember this.

There is nothing wrong with a man giving another women an honest compliment. Do you really know if they are hitting on you or do you only think so? Some guys are just very honest and if they have a confident wife or girlfriend and their relationship is good, he would have no problem giving compliments to other woman!

But you get some guys who step the line and it isn't a very good experience!

On the other hand you may just be insecure and cant take a honest compliment, but I don't know you so that can be true or not!

some men want to have their cake and eat it. Half the time it is to make their wife/girlfriend jealous. The best thing to do is embarass them in front of their wife while they are doing it - say something like why do you keep gawking at me? Or when they compliment you, show your disapproval.

I am not saying it is right, but men are attracted to women's physical attributes and it is almost impossible to ignore another beautiful woman when walking around with my gf. However, I just get a good look and look away. Trust me, I have a very beautiful girlfriend and dudes stare all the time. sometimes it bothers me and sometimes it doesn't. Just depends on my mood. Her?....she doesn't even notice them.

it OK for men to do this it lets you no that you have the hottest mate on earth. my wife get look at all the time and she love it when i point it out to her that some guy just look her over.. it all good. and in my case i get more lovings when guys are looking at her.
