Very good question! We Muslims believe that he was just another Prophet of Allah. However we accept that he was born miraculously and he had the ability to heal the sick with the Will of Allah. We also accept that he is the Christ!

We Are All Sons And Daughters Of God Jesus Is The Definite Word Of God And The Son Of The Holy Spirit God Himself After Adam And Eve Created The Cancer By Means Of The Devil

You are absolutely right about Adam. Adam is called the son of God, because God created Him first. But Jesus is the Son of God. Jesus was never created, because Jesus is God. God is in three characters, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. If you read Matthew and Luke's Gospel you will read that the Holy Spirit came upon Mary and she became pregnant. If you read John's Gospel in chapter one you will read that it Say's 'In the beginning was the Word'. Now the Greek for that word 'Word' is ' Logos' meaning Living Word. The 'Word' was alive. If you read Genesis chapter one it Say's 'In the Beginning God'. So if you look at the two together you realise that God is the Word. The Logos.
Now if you continue reading John one look what it Say's about that Word in verse 14. 'The Word became flesh and dwelt among us.' That means that God became flesh. When did that happen? When Jesus was born. Jesus is very much God.
Adam on the other hand, was created and also he sinned (did evil). Where as Jesus lived a perfect life.

Adam was the first man and like all other creatures, did not have parents. In the same regard- you wouldn't want to call Eve the daughter of Adam because she was made from one of his ribs. Jesus is regarded as the Son of God because God impregnated Mary by virtue of a miracle and therefore, Jesus had two parents.
Hope this clears it up for you.

If you read the geneologies of Jesus, in the Gospels according to Sts. Matthew & Luke, Adam is called the son of God.

Actually, we are all sons & daughters of God, but, not in the Same Way Jesus Is.

You see, we are all Created sons & daughters of God, whereas Jesus Is the Begotten Son Of God. He Pre-existed with the Father & the Holy Spirit right from the very beginning.

God fathered Jesus with a human woman, via a miracle, called the Immaculate Conception. Jesus was born through the Virgin Birth.

God created Adam out of his bounty. Adam was not born.

The Bible supports your claim that Adam was the son of God. In St Luke's Gospel chapter 3 v. 23-37 there is a genealogy of Jesus. It ends:....the son of Enosh, the son of Seth, the son of Adam, the son of God."

Not only does the bible call Adam a son of God,

But in the book of Job, the angels are called sons of God.

It's interesting that we can be become adopted sons of God,

Jesus as the only begotten, Firstborn Son, shows he was created, Just as Adam and the angels.

We can even be called brothers of Christ,

but we will never be called brothers of God.

Adam is referred to as 'son of god' in Luke 3:38, he was called a son of God because his life came from God without human parents. Similarly, Jesus Christ is called the son of God, for his life came directly from God.

Jesus was referred to as His only begotten Son. We are all sons and daughters of God but Jesus is His heir. A son or daughter of God remains his son or daughter for their life span on Earth. Only if they die and lost for disobedience will they no longer be His children. Jesus will say to them on that day "Depart from me, I never knew you." It's like having a spouse you love so dearly and suddenly you find out they have been cheating on you the whole time. You might say "I never knew you". Of course you know them but the great sin they have committed has changed your relationship with them forever. If you are a believer, then you should know that we were all created in his image. His creations come in many forms. Man was formed from the dust of the earth. Woman was formed from Adam's rib, Christ was formed by Holy conception, the universe was formed in the palm of his hand from nothingness.
Jesus IS the son of God. Adam is the son of God. We all are the children of God. But Jesus' sacrifice gives him the right to claim "I am the Son of God" in a more spiritual and poignant way. I think being tormented by his people whom he created and nailed to the cross to die an agonizing death gave him that right. Do you?
