i called him yesterday, but he was busy, so he called me at 3 pm, but i didn't check my phone until 8;30. i called him back then and later at 9:15. he called me back at 9:17 when i didn't have my phone with me. i called him so many times later that night-what's going on?

well, you didn't check your phone for 5 1/2 hours after he called you @ 3pm, & then he called you back 2 minutes after you called him, but you weren't there ? well, your overall concern is kind of weird since he is trying to call you. you need to chill on that. maybe check your phone more often ? maybe cut the guy some slack ? he is obviously trying. your initial question, why hasn't he called, is b.s., he has ! you just havn't answered the phone when he has called ! he might not be sure whats up with you at this point.

Part is phone tag - part maybe playing "the game" but in any case, you need to relax. You are making yourself way to available to him. You ask y he hasnt called, but later on u say he called a couple of times. So, just relax, if he wants to talk to you, he will call.

I agree....you are calling him way too much!!! Let him call you. Everyone likes a challenge! Let the next move be his. When he calls and leaves you a message, just call him back ONCE...leave a message and wait for his return call. You'll get much further this way than being a pest which is a REAL turn-off! Check your phone regularly if you miss his call DON'T call him back straight away...text him and ask when is a good time to call him back

Slow down, quit calling so much. Tomorrow is another day...if he doesn't call tonight he may tomorrow. If he called back he's obviously interested so relax. Don' t freak him out or turn hi off by calling over and over and over.

I am going through the same **** with my boyfriend so I had to break it off with. I think you should have a talk with him when you get a chance to. When I get home I will call my ex-boyfriend so we can talk about what going on between us. I think we will get back together. Don't do what I have done just talk to him.

It's called phone tag. The fact that he keeps calling back means he must be interested. Don't be so needy. Call him once each time he's called and you missed the call. You'll wear out your welcome fast if you keep up the desperate act.
